 | Healthy Food For those of you who were with us at our last Maui Mysitc Garden Party, you know how amazing the all organic & vegan food was with raw options at every meal! One of the reasons our Mystic Garden Kitchen was so amazing was Chef Bruce Horowitz (of Sun Kitchen). We're happy to announce that he will be our head chef again for the Ashland Mystic Garden Party event.
Here's a bit on Bruce's backgound:
Ten years experience as a live-food culinary artist and instructor combine with a passion for connecting the Raw Food Movement with a deeper ecological understanding to make Bruce Horowitz the most versatile raw-food chef in the Pacific Northwest. Bruce is the owner and executive chef of The Sun Kitchen, a live-food catering company and festival concession, co-owner of Stirs the Soul Organic RAW Chocolate Company, and a lead retreat chef for Nature’s First Law and Dancing Butterfly Enterprises. When not teaching individuals and chefs to lovingly create live-food and to plant organic gardens at Living Light Culinary Arts Institute in Fort Bragg California and PCC Cooks in Seattle, Bruce teaches at the The Oregon Culinary Institute in Portland. Author of the forthcoming book, The Raw Revolution: Healing the Planet One Bite at a Time, Bruce is a regular contributor to Raw Inspirations e-zine. A certified Permaculture Designer, and Organic Gardener and Composter Educator, Bruce is teaming with Laura Fox to present a series of Sustainable Living Retreats around the world.
